A friend, found in times of joy and in times of moan. In our understanding, we can say that we are good friends and that we have good friends. We share and we laugh, and we talk until the sun rises.

But, are we real friends? God’s definition of a real friend is Jesus; you can see it in the entire Bible. But what God means is that a “friend” is not only there when you have a smile blooming on your face, a friend is when tears decorate your cheeks. A true friend holds your hand when it is Summer and keeps you warm when it’s Winter.

“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.”
Ephesians‬ 5‬:1‬-2‬ NLT‬‬

Living like Jesus Christ also means loving like he loves. A true friend loves at all times. A true friend is second to others. A true friend brings you closer to God. Be different, be a true friend who brings others closer to Jesus.

Let’s be like a lavender field and spread the fragrance of Jesus Christ all the time.
